The pub­li­ca­ti­on of Csapody’s book co­in­ci­des with the 90th an­ni­ver­sary of the fo­un­da­ti­on of the Hun­ga­ri­an PEN Club in the spring of 1926. The aut­hor, Mik­lós Csa­pody, is a Hun­ga­ri­an li­ter­ary his­to­ri­an, jour­na­list, po­li­ti­ci­an and par­lia­men­tary rep­re­s­en­ta­tive (1990–2010). He wro­te ma­inly abo­ut the gra­phic ar­tist Gusz­táv Cseh, the eth­no­gra­p­her and art his­to­ri­an Sán­dor Bá­lint, and the writer and po­li­ti­ci­an Mik­lós Bán­ffy.
